Bread Recall and Craft-Based Alternatives
Recall:
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has an active recall of several brands of bread and buns in Ontario, Quebec and Newfoundland due to the discovery of metal fragments in some products.
37 products in total are affected including the following brands: Country Harvest, D'Italiano, Great Value, No Name and Wonder. A full list of the recalls can be found on the CFIA's website.
Those with affected products should not eat or sell them.
According to the advisory, the bakery at the root of the recall is Wonder Brands Inc.
