Graeme and Sophie MacDonald began a journey in 2017.
They’d been thinking, reading and learning about climate change and the environment.
Their minds and bodies weren’t doing well in the city and the life they were leading, as Graeme puts it.
They were ready for a big change and wanted to learn about food systems from the ground up.
They left their jobs and signed up as apprentice farmers at Elizabeth and Bill Condrotte’s Haida Gwaii homestead.
More on their journey in the July-August issue of Small Farm Canada magazine.
