The Sustainability of Canadian Agriculture 2022 virtual conference will take place on March 16th to March 18th. The free conference provides practical information and considers the future of Canada’s agricultural production systems to further develop sustainable food systems.
Co-hosted by the University of Manitoba's National Centre for Livestock and the Environment and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, three separate sessions each day will feature brief presentations followed by facilitated panel discussions address how to redesign food systems, strive for carbon neutrality, and manage agriculture production from a broad land perspective to achieve sustainability in agriculture.
Researchers, students, producers, government, commodity organizations and industry representatives with a range of perspectives will come together to collectively share ideas and experiences about how to improve agriculture sustainability in Canada.
