The Ontario Forage Council (OFC) is thrilled to announce that the Forage Focus event will take place on Friday, December 6th, at 9:30 AM.
This event is part of the Canadian Forage & Grassland Association’s (CFGA) Annual Conference, which is being held in Guelph this year, and it will serve as the favored post-conference tour.
This year’s theme is "Hay As A Cash Crop." The event will kick off in Gorrie at Marcrest Hay Storage, where attendees can explore an innovative hay storage facility and a hay dryer. Following this, guests will tour the Marcrest Manufacturing site, known for producing the Bale Baron.
After lunch, the tour will proceed to Marhaven in Drayton, where participants will view the Chinook hay dryer and hay press. A panel discussion featuring key players in the Ontario hay market will address the potential opportunities for hay producers.
This event is particularly beneficial for both established producers looking to grow their operations and newcomers interested in entering hay production.
A trade show will also take place in the afternoon at Marhaven.
Attendance for Forage Focus is free, but pre-registration is required. Sponsorship and trade show opportunities remain available, though spaces are limited and expected to fill quickly.
This event offers a fantastic platform for advertisers to connect with a targeted audience of forage producers from across Ontario.
