Join in and celebrate Food Day Canada on July 30th, 2022! Whether you’re shopping, cooking and dining Canadian, celebrate in praise of our farmers and fishers, chefs and researchers, and of course, our home cooks.
Anita Steward C.M., her family and some pioneering supports first showed their support for Canadian farmers and ranchers in 2003. Since then, Food Day Canada has grown and evolved into a national celebration for Canadians to share their food and stories with each other.
Almost 50 iconic Canadian features and buildings will be lit up red and white to celebrate Food Day Canada.
The country will be a wave of red and white at
- The Confederation Building in Newfoundland
- The CN Tower and Niagara Falls
- The Winnipeg sign
- The SaskTel Centre
- The Legislative Assembly of BC in Victoria
Together let’s celebrate and recognize those who feed and nourish our nation by Canadians, for Canadians, and with Canadians.
