During the COVID-19 pandemic, one Ontario farmer goes viral with its hilarious herd of animals. Amanda, owner of Useless Farm, has more than 45,000 subscribers on YouTube and more than 3.5 million followers on TIkTok.
Useless Farm began 4-5 years ago and is home to alpacas, chickens, emus, donkeys and more. The animals on the farm are free to be themselves, hence the farm’s name “Useless Farm” – no animal on the farm has a job but to live their life in relative peace.
Amanda started sharing funny and obscure moments on social media without any expectations of going viral. Useless Farms is surrounded by love and support with over 100 million likes on TikTok.
“I wanted people to laugh and smile at these things like I do,” says Amanda.
“I like to bring smiles and laugh with other people. We definitely needed it during the past couple years.”
Some of the famous animals at Useless Farms featured online include:
- Poor sweet Michael
- Karen the angry emu
- Brad the silkie rooster
The viral videos of Michael the llama have even caught the attention of Canadian singer, Michael Bublé. Bublé duets a few of Useless Farm’s videos by pretending to be a llama.
For example, Bublé chews and stares around in a duet video with Michael the llama. Given his blank expression and seemingly unbothered attitude, Bublé has no idea what is happening and is totally happy about it.
“When I saw that Michale Bublé dueted a couple of my videos, I laughed so hard. He’s such a good sport about it,” adds Amanda.
All Bublé needs is a silky haircut like Michael the llama and they would be twinning!
