The 2024 Women in Ag Awards, held on March 17 in Calgary, spotlighted the exceptional contributions of women across the agriculture industry.
These awards, presented during The Notables reception at the Advancing Women in Agriculture West Conference, honored individuals who have broken down barriers, fostered communities, and pioneered innovative solutions in agriculture. There were organized by the Agriculture Financial Services Corporation in the host province of Alberta.

- Josie Van Lent, The Professional Leader, has demonstrated lifelong leadership and mentorship, significantly influencing the advancement of women in agriculture.
- Lastly, Charlotte Wasylik, The Rising Star, has been acknowledged for her passionate advocacy for agriculture and her role as a young leader under 40, taking giant strides and contributing positively to the community.
These women's achievements are reshaping the future of agriculture, making it a more inclusive, sustainable, and innovative industry. Their dedication and hard work not only enrich the sector but also pave the way for future generations of women in agriculture.
