Wednesday, November 23: Luiz Ferraretto: Connecting the dots – fiber digestibility, animal performance, and feeding behavior
Dr. Luiz Ferraretto is currently an Assistant Professor and Ruminant Nutrition Extension Specialist in the Department of Animal and Dairy Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
His research interests are applied dairy cattle nutrition and management with emphasis on starch and fiber utilization by dairy cows, corn silage and high-moisture corn quality and digestibility, the use of alternative by-products as feed ingredients, and supplementation of feed additives to lactating cows.

Thursday November 24: Tracey Baute, Entomologist- Field Crops, OMAFRA Topic: Bt-resistant corn rootworm
Tracey Baute has been the Field Crop Entomologist with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs for 22 years.
Her recent areas of focus include research and extension work on Bt resistance and management of western bean cutworm, corn rootworm, and dimethoate-resistant spider mites.
