In the 2022 Food Trends Report, food personalization trended again specific to Baby Boomers, by providing foods for the unique dietary needs of Boomer’s.
In the 2023 Food Trends Report it gets even more personal or is that less…with gender personalization. Sorry for the confusion, being female is personal. It could also be called general as females represent the largest target market. Females control of over half of buying decisions.
Female foods make sense in that perspective, especially to Millennials, as leaders of this trend. What are female foods? As suggested by Nofima.com, they are foods developed to ease nutrition at certain times of life such as foods that are easy to digest and help with symptoms. Especially in times of menstruation, pregnancy, lactation and menopause.
