Farm & Food Care Ontario (FFCO) is seeking nominations for its annual Champion award, Food & Farming Champion. Each year, the award is presented to individuals, organizations or businesses who have taken initiative to help engage consumers about agriculture in Ontario.
Nominees have used their skills to inform consumers or correct misinformation about production practices and done a measurable job of promoting the agricultural industry. A nominated individual or group does not have to be a member of FFCO to be eligible.
Board members themselves are not eligible for nomination, however, they may nominate more than one individual, organization, or business.
Nominations will be accepted from all Farm & Food Care Ontario members, as well as the current board of directors. A panel will select the award winner(s).
If you know someone you think should be honoured, submit a nomination form here by March 11, 2022.
