The BC Farmer’s Markets Virtual Conference is a series of online seminars, workshops, and socials that will take place starting from February 1st, extending to the 19th. The conference is designed for farmers’ market organizers, growers, small-scale food processors, artisans, as well as agricultural and community leaders to get together virtually, gain new skills from one another, and discover something new together. There will even be a Q & A event with the Federal Minister of Agriculture.

Perhaps the most notable and anticipated event will be the discussion with the Federal Minister of Agriculture. Taking place on February 8th from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM PST, Minister Marie-Claude Bibeau will first share some remarks at the event which then will be followed by an interactive Q & A session.
On the last day of the conference, the annual BC Farmers’ Market Awards will be held. The awards presented will include:
