Farm Management Canada is pleased to be working with LeaderShift Inc. to empower Canada’s farmers through a leadership development program.
The National Farm Leadership Program (NFLP) aims to teach farmers how to perform efficiently and effectively during a hectic farm life. The program will help farmers identify the critical development areas that will have the greatest impact on their personal and professional lives.
The National Farm Leadership Program will begin on January 24th, 2022 and take place over 11 weeks of virtual learning and a 3-day in-person residency. It is funded by the Government of Canada under the Canadian Agricultural Partnership.
Kelly Dobson, Certified Executive Coach, fourth generation farmer, and Founder of LeaderShift, is leading the program. Dobson combines adult learning research with neuroscience and IT, enabling leader development at any age. Through training, coaching and commitment to individual success, LeaderShift is dedicated to developing high performance leaders.
Details of the National Farm Leadership Program includes:
- Structured online learning from January 24 – April 8
- 3-day residency in Victoria, BC on March 9 – 11
- A personal leadership assessment against a set of global leaders
