Barbara Jewell is a flower farmer and floral designer on Prince Edward Island in Atlantic Canada. Her family has been running Jewell’s Country Market for many years. This is a garden centre that sells seasonal garden planters filled and overflowing with blooms.
More recently, Jewell has started a Community Support Agriculture model, which ensures islanders have access to fresh, locally grown flowers on a weekly basis all summer long.
