Canada's Malting Barley Industry: An Overview
March 16th - 17th at the Sheraton Hotel in Saskatoon.
The course will provide an overview of the Canadian malting barley value chain, theoretical and practical knowledge of malting technology and processing, as well as a review of global barley, malt, and brewing statistics.
Attendees will gain an understanding of malting barley selection criteria, quality evaluation, specialty malts and attend presentations on barley breeding and growing malt barley.
The course is free for registered barley producers.
