In the lazy, hazy days of summer we are languishing in the past with a series of stand-out throw-back cool tools.
Don’t think we are going to dwell in the negative only though as our first stand-out was an epic fail. We will also be bringing back tools for recyclers, tools that give outstanding value and some not so much. Tools that were surprisingly popular, funny tools, lame tools, truly cool tools and those no one should be without!
Join us until Labour Day as we take a walk down cool tool memory lane.
Our first cool tool in review is the sky garden.
My daughter Cydney had the idea to try out a stackable hanging planter. I laughed at first considering how much garden we are currently maintaining, but I admit I was also curious to try it.
I was impressed. It seemed very strong, held a significant amount of soil, staying moist longer than a conventional hanger. We also thought it had possibilities for someone with limited space or a balcony.
Sadly, our hopes were dashed when the sky garden crashed. This was a cool tool fail. Keep it on the ground sky garden!
