Kubota has introduced a new utility vehicle for getting around and working on the farm and acreage.
The new RTV-X1130 and its open ROPS one-row configuration represents a portfolio expansion for Kubota.
The unit, available in Kubota’s signature orange or with camo paint, comes standard with a 6-foot-long cargo bed equipped with hydraulic dump.
The cargo bed can carry more than a half-ton of tools or materials.
It also comes with a new feature called ProKonvert.
“What ProKonvert represents is the ability to fold down the sides, making loading and unloading extremely easy,” said Jacob Mendoza, senior product manager with Kubota. “You can also, without tools, remove the sides and the tailgate and convert it to a flatbed.”
The X1130 has Kubota’s 3-cylinder diesel engine, which generates 24.8 HP and 51.4 ft-lbs. of torque. It also has hydrostatic transmission and hydraulic power steering.
“That common fuel source is a critical factor when farmers like yourselves are buying equipment because you already have that diesel fuel on property,” Mendoza said.
Users who want to take their X1130 experience to higher levels can do so with multiple customization options.
These include a storage box, tailgate extender, cargo bed winch and LED light cargo panel.
